54 AFG members plus our Mid Wales Travel bus driver John Howard who is getting married today, had a day out at Portmeirion. Although the weather forecast was pretty grim it seems we yet again managed to avoid any downpours and everyone enjoyed exploring the Italianate village. Next outing is to Castell Henllys on 12th September, hope to see you then!

Even though it rained members of AFG had a lovely day out in Shrewsbury on Thursday 13th June.  Some preferred to do a bit of shopping in the town while others joined an organised tour of Shrewsbury Abbey.  Everyone enjoyed a coffee break at Charlies, Coed y Dinas and lunch at The Peach Tree Restaurant. Thanks Margaret Woodliff and George Walker for the photos.
