Friday 29 April 2022

There was a bit of buzz going on this morning in the footy club with AFG members feeling ready to get out and about again.  Our first trip will be on Friday 13th May to Aberaeron.  There is no meeting on this day as the Football Club will be closed.

Aberaeron is easy to get to either by car or bus.  There is no specific timetable but Margaret and I agreed it would be a good idea to meet up at around 11 o’clock in Ambassadors Upstairs CafĂ© which is situated in Alban Square, opposite the bus stop.  Look forward to see you.  Ash xx

Let’s get going again!

Now, with the prospect of living with Covid19 being ever present, AFG Committee feel that maybe it is time to get going again and work on our calendar of meetings, outings and events.  We have compiled a list of places to visit as suggested by our members.  There are 19 so far, including Hereford Cathedral, but we need a vote on which to visit first.  We suggest you pop into the footy club any Friday morning to let us know your preferences.  Looking forward to seeing you and getting out and about again.  Best wishes, Aislinn

Thursday 17 February 2022

Please note:  Ruth has just informed me that due to storm Eunice she will not be opening up the football club tomorrow for our usual Friday get together.  Please take heed of all the warnings, stay indoors if you can, and avoid unnecessary travel.

Stay safe, see you next week!
